Visited around Monday mid morning for brunch. Some of my local friends had recommended me this place, and as a keen brunch go-er i was interested in visiting.
The lady who served me was okay but i feel like a smile could’ve gone a long way. It didn’t look like she wanted to be there. In contrast, the blonde lady who brought me an extra straw for my drink was lovely and her customer service was excellent.
I ordered the peanut nutty smoothie and the pumpkin. Smoothie had good flavours but I found the pumpkin dish a little bland. Food was fast to come out and cost was reasonable.
Would I go again? Probably not. There are a lot of other brunch places to try in Adelaide.

I can pay $20 for eggs benedict in regional Victoria and get a plate of “no frills” rubbish.
The effort that goes into the presentation of meals Commissary serves is inspiring! I was very satisfied with breakfast dishes and the coffees were consistent. Latte art goes a long way in my experience.
The dining room was cozy (winter time) and seating was comfortable.
The waitresses appear to be learning their trade. In my opinion are too efficient. Sometimes it felt like you are being circled by buzzards waiting to clear used dishes. If the only negative critique is efficiency however, i believe this to be a good calue for money and pleasing restaurant.
Ordered the vegan waffles and specified my allergies. I very much doubt these are actually vegan as I had a reaction to the food which could only be egg or dairy. The level of allergic reaction was more than just a “may contain” or cross contamination level.
Also quite noisy whenever we’ve been here, making it very hard to have discussions.
Great food and great service. Staff were happy and friendly
